I've been through BM with a shadow priest healing and feral druid healing. They didn't even have any half dent outland items, they had the some of
the very best lv60 gear though :P It is a matter of the whole group not just the healer and blk morass in partular is not THAT hard if you know what you're doing. I admit it used to be uber hard maybe 5 months ago, before it got nerfed and before all the epix. Also if you really took the time to read through the holy tree you will see that it does not offer anything remarkable, probably the best thing it offers is the 25% armor buff, some manaonservation (biggest problem of the shadow priest healing) and a LITTLE addition to healing. So in short, maybe your healer was not great but it doesn't mean spriestsan't heal lv70 instaes (not heros obviously). BTW holy+shadow priest in a group are an insanelly goodombo.
Obviously I know that both priests and mages are both eellenthoes for end game tivities. I don't enjoy being a main healer though, support would be ok. I've seen what shadow priests areapable of by reading the here and wahing the endless amounts of videos and thats why im asking these questions. Would a shadow priest be a goodhoe toontribute to my guild end game? Or should I just roll a mage? Would just like to have the pros andons of the path of a shadow priest so Ian get a good feel of what to expt. So far I enjoy leveling my priest even if it's not as fast as a hunter or warlk and I haven't got shadow form yet so I know things will speed up. I hear "priests are healers not wanna be mages,
do your job and heal", but it's ourharters and weanhoose how to play eh. Mainly those people haven't ever played a shadow priest I would assume. I do try to learn everything about mylass so Ian be good at it. I want to see end game before I die, been at WoW for about a year and 3 months now and haven't even seen endgame anything yet. Now im just rambling on, mh appriated.
